Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Healthcare Technician to support the dialysis team in providing safe and effective therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include setting up and operating hemodialysis machines and maintaining a clean, safe environment in accordance with policies.

You will participate in CQI activities, monitor patient responses, obtain vital signs and patient data, document treatments, and assist with vascular access evaluation and treatment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within the required state or CMS timeline.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Obtain pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight.
• Evaluate vascular access and initiate dialysis per orders.
• Document dialysis treatments and patient condition.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment.
