Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Biomedical Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dialysis equipment and water treatment systems across our clinics. You will also train colleagues on operational maintenance to ensure safe patient care and manage essential medical supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Continued employment depends on successful completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant, as directed.
• Ensures outside vendor services are completed per contract.
• Purchases and retains an inventory of service parts.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and reports actions.
• Documents all repairs and maintenance activity.
• Provides scheduled after hour technical on-call coverage for clinics.
