U.S. Renal Care, Inc. is seeking a Biomedical Technician in Honolulu, HI to oversee the maintenance and repair of dialysis and water treatment systems, ensuring patient and staff safety.

You will manage calibration, testing, and preventive maintenance across the clinic’s equipment portfolio. The role requires basic technical skills, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license, with preference for prior dialysis or medical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license in applicable state with good driving record.
• Previous dialysis, hospital, or medical experience preferred.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Able to react under stress and in emergency situations.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of water treatment and medical equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Troubleshoot and repair dialysis machines and RO units per manufacturer protocols.
• Perform water quality checks and safety tests on pretreatment equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Assist with inventory, purchasing, and supplier coordination.
• Present technical summaries in meetings and work with Administrators.
