Job summary

Capgemini in Philadelphia, on-site, is seeking a contract AI engineer to design and deploy conversational AI using Google CES and Dialogflow CX/ES. You will build AI agents, orchestrate conversations with Playbooks, and enable GE4CX within CX workflows.

Collaborate with UX, product, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure AI experiences. The role emphasizes modern cloud-native deployment, API integrations, and continuous improvement across multi-channel channels.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI solutions using Google CES / Dialogflow CX / ES.
• Build and manage AI agents and agentic workflows leveraging Playbooks and GenAI for CX (GE4CX).
• Implement multi-channel conversational experiences (chat, voice, telephony).
• Integrate conversational agents with backend systems via APIs, webhooks, and cloud services.
• Utilize Google Cloud services (Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI, etc.) for scalable solutions.
• Design and optimize intents, entities, and conversation flows.
• Build context-aware and adaptive AI agents using modern agentic frameworks.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure performance optimization, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
• Apply best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding of:

• LLMs, prompt engineering, grounding techniques
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)

Strong understanding of:

• GCP architecture and services
• Cloud Functions / Cloud Run
• Pub/Sub
• BigQuery

Development Skills:

• Experience in deploying cloud-native applications
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and integrations
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $46.23/hour - $72.23/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
