Job summary

The City of Peoria, AZ is seeking a part-time Dial-A-Ride driver to provide safe, reliable passenger transportation. You’ll assist riders, including seniors and disabled passengers, board and depart the vehicle, and help secure mobility devices as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in a similar role.
• Valid Arizona Class “C” Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient vehicle operations for transporting passengers, assisting seniors and disabled as needed.
• Log stops, complete incidents, inspections, and reports; maintain trip data and operate onboard radio/computer.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, interior cleaning and refueling.
• Collect and record pre-established transit fares.
