Job summary

Hyundai Motor Company in Fountain Valley, CA, seeks a senior diagnostic systems professional to lead development of Hyundai & Genesis diagnostic tools, including GDS, and to coordinate with global teams. You will drive research into new diagnostic technologies and manage tool licensing and rollout.

Applicants should have extensive automotive OE experience, strong project management, and the ability to work across international teams to standardize tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s degree a plus.
• Six+ years of experience with an automotive OE or distributor in a technical capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in developing and improving Hyundai & Genesis diagnostic systems, including GDS and related tools.
• Spearhead research of advanced diagnostic technologies and integration into the diagnostic program.
• Coordinate with HMA, HAC, GITA, GIT and global teams to standardize tools and align NA requirements.
• Manage GDS release quality, testing, verification, and rollout across regions.
• Oversee budgeting for diagnostic systems and ensure cost-effective execution.
