Job summary

Ovation Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Diagnostics Technician to run advanced diagnostic tests on Fisher control valve assemblies before shipment.

You will use Profiler Advanced Diagnostics software to test performance, calibrate positioners, and document each assembly, collaborating with Valve, Tech, and Inspection teams. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and analytical skills, the ability to read technical specs, and familiarity with diagnostic software.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Solid analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and apply technical specifications and use diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Connect and configure diagnostic equipment on control valve assemblies.
• Run diagnostic tests using Profiler Advanced Diagnostics software.
• Analyze graphs and data to identify performance issues or adjustments.
• Test repaired and warranty assemblies and prepare As Found/As Left reports.
• Prepare a Profiler report documenting performance.
• Calibrate and tune DVC positioners using a HART communicator or Fieldbus.
• Troubleshoot valve/mechanical issues and report findings to teams.
• Support inspection by applying acceptance criteria to parts and assemblies.
