Job summary

PS Logistics in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Maintenance Technology Specialist (Support Admin) to ensure equipment and system reliability. You will analyze maintenance data, identify failure root causes, and recommend actions to improve fleet performance and reduce downtime.

You will monitor telematics, run diagnostics with OEM tools, develop dashboards for predictive maintenance, and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in training and/or logistics/supply chain management required.
• Previous maintenance support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze vehicle telematics, onboard diagnostics (OBD), and maintenance records to identify performance issues.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess system health and recommend maintenance actions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support predictive maintenance strategies.
• Act as a technical liaison between fleet operations and maintenance personnel.
• Assist in the implementation of condition-based and predictive maintenance programs.
