Job summary

Smiths Group, through John Crane, seeks a Diagnostics Engineer/Technical Specialist to deliver Asset Condition Management projects across the region. You will consult with clients to identify needs, manage project execution with on-site teams, and collaborate with business development to define value propositions.

The role requires hands-on diagnostics, data analysis, and the ability to travel up to 40% within US/Canada/Caribbean regions.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in vibration analysis for condition monitoring of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors).
ISO 18436-2 Category 2 certification or equivalent.
Experience with rotating equipment including pumps and turbo machinery; establishing Condition Monitoring programs.
Languages: English (other languages beneficial).
TWIC card eligibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

Engage and influence global stakeholders from client leadership teams to technical experts.
Consult with customers on reliability vision, strategy and roadmap; implement new services and enhance existing programs.
Develop and deliver plans to expand condition monitoring services in alignment with regional strategy.
Lead development of analysis databases and reporting systems (vibration, lubrication, etc.).
Provide service and support for Indufil product line.
