Job summary

John Crane, a business of Smiths Group, seeks a Diagnostics Engineer or Technical Specialist to deliver Asset Condition Management projects across the region. You will consult with clients, lead on-site teams, and coordinate with the business development team.

Responsibilities include analyzing vibration data, planning service delivery, expanding condition monitoring programs, and ensuring safety and reliability. Travel up to 40% across US, Canada, and Caribbean, and obtain a TWIC card.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in vibration analysis for condition monitoring of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors).
• Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Vibration Analysis ISO 18436-2 Category 2, or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engage and influence global stakeholders from client leadership teams to technical experts.
• Consult with customer on reliability vision, strategy and roadmap; create plans to fulfil them by implementing new services and enhancements to existing programs.
• Develop and deliver plans to expand condition monitoring services in alignment with regional strategy.
• Lead development of analysis databases and reporting systems (vibration, lubrication and others).
• Provide service and support for Indufil product line.
