Qualifications

• Completed accredited Radiology Technology Program.
• Registry eligible (ARRT) within 12 months of hire.
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Greets, escorts, educates and identifies patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Performs imaging exams following ALARA standards and department protocols.
• Completes diagnostic imaging exams with radiologist-approved protocols.
• Enters examinations accurately and documents charges appropriately.
• Sends and stores images/data in PACS securely and promptly.
• Maintains department records/logs to monitor quality and safety.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and supports a culture of safety.
• Coordinates with supervisor to maintain adequate staffing for patient needs.
