Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist I for the Winchester Hospital radiology team. The role requires performing diagnostic imaging exams per protocol, ensuring safety and data integrity, and supporting patient care in a night shift.

The technologist will use ALARA principles, document procedures, and coordinate with staff to maintain high-quality imaging services and patient experiences in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Radiology Technology Program.
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT registry eligibility.
• Associates Degree in Radiology preferred.
• BLS certification recommended.
• At least 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations following department protocols and ACR standards.
• Maintains ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Enter examinations accurately and document findings for proper charges.
• Electronically send and store images in PACS and maintain records.
• Educates patients and families to improve their experience and safety.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and coordinate with supervisor to ensure staffing.
