Lower Keys Medical Center in Florida is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support physicians in patient care. The role demands independent judgment, technical proficiency, and strict adherence to safety and imaging protocols.

The technologist will verify patient information, document procedures in the EHR, and ensure imaging is processed for radiologist interpretation, while maintaining equipment and patient comfort throughout

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of clinical ultrasound experience required.
• 2-4 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
• ARDMS or ARRT Sonography certification or registry eligible required.
• BCLS certification required within 7 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Performs all ultrasound procedures independently, adhering to department protocols.
• Verifies patient identification and appropriate procedures before imaging.
• Identifies pathologies during scanning for radiologist interpretation.
• Ensures patient care, safety and comfort during all procedures.
• Maintains clean, safe, organized work environment per guidelines.
• Documents imaging procedures and patient data in the EHR and scans to PACS.
