Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or equivalent program; hospital-based certificate or radiology tech degree.
• Six months to a year of on-the-job clinical experience and training; BLS within 6–12 months after hire.
• Registry eligibility or ARDMS in OB/GYN and Abdomen; breast ARDMS/ARRT path for dedicated breast centers; registries to be completed within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform non-invasive scans across body parts.
• Maintain patient positioning, documentation, and accurate records.
• Demonstrate professional communication with patients, physicians, and team members.
• Uphold sterile technique and maintain cleanliness of rooms and equipment.
• Provide first aid as required and handle contrast or emergency situations.
