Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diverse diagnostic ultrasound exams across OR, ER, inpatient and outpatient settings. The role emphasizes accuracy, proper documentation, and strong teamwork to deliver high-quality patient care.

The candidate should hold an AMA-accredited ultrasound program background, RDMS certification, and BLS. A sign-on bonus of 7,500 USD is available for eligible hires, with prorated bonuses for partial-week roles.

Qualifications

• RDMS certification required; RVT or RVS within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in ultrasound imaging and breast imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Diagnostic Ultrasound exams and procedures.
• Document patient information to perform appropriate exams.
• Maintain accuracy in RIS tracking and PACS workflow.
• Ensure quality control and image evaluation for diagnostic purposes.
• Follow department standards, protocols, and licensure requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and provide patient-centered care.
• Participate in training, quality improvement, and mandatory education.
