Qualifications

• Two year AMA-accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound or grandfathered into profession with demonstrated competencies.
• RDMS required; RVT or RVS certification within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of Diagnostic Ultrasound exams and procedures to produce images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtains and documents patient information to perform appropriate exam.
• Ensures 100% accuracy in ultrasound exams and accurate patient demographics in RIS/PACS.
• Maintains quality control of exams using PACS and adheres to department standards and protocols.
• Maintains licensure/credentials and a safe patient environment; supports team-based patient care.
