Job summary

The Ultrasound Technologist position at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital is performed under the direction of a radiologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging. Candidates should have ARDMS certification or registry eligibility, BLS via AHA, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification or registry eligible. Preferred graduate of an approved ARDMS program
• Maintain current licenses and certifications as required.
• Obtain registry license less than one year from the date of hire.
• Ability to operate equipment within the department.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Obtain and maintain current American Heart Association (AHA) training in Basic Life Support (BLS) utilizing Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures under the direction of a radiologist.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images with independence and initiative.
• Review orders and ensure accurate patient identification and positioning.
• Maintain documentation in HIS/RIS per department procedures.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and stock supplies; communicate with supervisor.
