Job summary

Hendrick Health in Abilene, TX seeks an Entry/Beginning Level Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to operate diagnostic x-ray and fluoroscopic equipment. You will assist Radiologists and other physicians with diagnosing and treating disease and/or injury.

This is a professional licensed and registered allied health care position. The role requires completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, Texas radiologic technologist license, ARRT within a year of graduation, and BLS CPR

• Must have completed Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT within one year of graduation of accredited program
• Obtain BLS Healthcare CPR within 30 days of hire

Minimum Education

• Must have completed Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist license
• Must have ARRT within one year of graduation of accredited program
• Obtain BLS Healthcare CPR within 30 days of hire

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities

• Must have basic knowledge of Digital Radiologic Equipment
• Must have basic understanding of PACS and RIS software.
• Must have basic ability to do Diagnostic Radiographs.
• Must be able to verbal communicate with patients and render basic patient care
