Job summary

Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, TX seeks an entry-level Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to operate diagnostic x-ray and fluoroscopic equipment under radiologists' supervision. You will assist with imaging procedures, ensure patient care, and maintain safety standards.

Must complete accredited radiologic technologist program and obtain state license. This position requires basic knowledge of PACS/RIS software and strong patient communication; ARRT within 12 months of graduation and BLS CPR

Qualifications

• Must have completed Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Must hold Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist license.
• Must have ARRT within one year of graduation of accredited program.
• Obtain BLS Healthcare CPR within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic x-ray and fluoroscopic equipment as directed by Radiologists.
• Assist physicians with imaging procedures and patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Job description

Entry/Beginning Level Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist. Employees in this job function as Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer with responsibility for operating diagnostic x-ray and fluoroscopic equipment for assisting Radiologists and/or other physicians with diagnosing and/or treating disease and/or injury. This position is a professional licensed and registered allied health care position

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have completed Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Must have ARRT within one year of graduation of accredited program
