Job summary

Servco Subaru Maui is seeking a Diagnostic Specialist to diagnose, service, and repair Subaru vehicles, while documenting repair notes and recommendations. You will attend factory training and aim to obtain ASE certifications within 18 months, supporting Hawaii's climate-controlled training facility and competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, communicating concerns to the Service Consultant, and maintaining production standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum three to six months of automotive repair experience.
• Must secure at least one ASE certification within 18 months of hire.
• Must own a basic set of automotive repair tools.
• Subaru technical experience, diagnostic experience, safety inspection license and ASE certifications preferred.

• Diagnose, service, and repair Servco Subaru vehicles.
• Document notes and recommendations on the repair order.
• Inspect vehicles and inform customers through the Service Consultant of any concerns.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and safely.
• Maintain and exceed minimum shop production standards.

• Accurately diagnose, service, and repair Servco Subaru vehicles
• Document notes and recommendations on the repair order
• Inspect vehicles and advise Service Consultant of any areas of concern so customers are informed
• Ensure work is completed accurately and done safely
• Maintain and exceed minimum shop production standards
• Attend all required factory training and obtain all required certificates

Requirements

• Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience
• Minimum three to six months of automotive repair experience
• Must be able to secure at least one Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification within 18 months of being hired
• Valid driver's license and strong driving record
• Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes
• Must own a basic set of automotive repair tools
• Good communication skills
• Good problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
• Subaru technical experience, diagnostic experience, safety inspection license and ASE certifications preferred

• Our Diagnostic Specialists are paid a competitive hourly wage and production incentive.
