Job summary

Servco Subaru Maui seeks a skilled Auto Technician to diagnose, service and repair Subaru vehicles with factory training in our Hawaii facility.

You will document repair notes, inspect vehicles, and inform customers of repairs while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Training and ASE certification progression are encouraged to advance within the service department.

Qualifications

  • Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum three to six months of automotive repair experience.
  • Must obtain ASE certification within 18 months of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Own basic set of automotive repair tools.
  • Subaru technical/diagnostic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair Servco Subaru vehicles.
  • Document notes and repair orders; advise Service Consultant.
  • Inspect vehicles and report concerns to customers.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and safely.
  • Attend factory training and obtain required certifications.

At Servco Subaru Maui, we provide top notch service to our customers. Our Diagnostic Specialists will service and repair Subaru vehicles, including performing a variety of bumper to bumper service/repair jobs and receive factory training.Learn more about our Auto Technician position by visiting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vetsrGvWAfAResponsibilities:Accurately diagnose, service, and repair Servco Subaru vehiclesDocument notes and recommendations on the repair orderInspect vehicles and advise Service Consultant of any areas of concern so customers are informedEnsure work is completed accurately and done safelyMaintain and exceed minimum shop production standardsAttend all required factory training and obtain all required certificationsRequirements:Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experienceMinimum three to six months of automotive repair experienceMust be able to secure at least one Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification within 18 months of being hiredValid driver’s license and strong driving recordAbility to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizesMust own a basic set of automotive repair toolsGood communication skillsGood problem solving skills and strong attention to detailSubaru technical experience, diagnostic experience, safety inspection license and ASE certifications preferred.Our Diagnostic Specialists are paid a competitive hourly wage and production incentive.
