Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Sonography required.
• 4 years professional sonography experience, with at least 2 years in abdomen and OB/GYN.
• 4 years of clinical experience required.
• RDMS certification with OBGYN or Abdominals specialization required.
• Experience teaching in a clinical setting preferred, not required.
• Unencumbered RDMS certification with the relevant specialty is essential.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging educational content for diverse learners.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students and partners.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver class objectives clearly.
• Foster a safe learning environment in classrooms and labs.
• Maintain training aids, tools, and equipment in classroom and lab.
• Keep curriculum current with industry standards and practices.
• Evaluate student performance via assignments and exams.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students achieve academic and professional goals.
• Identify at-risk students and create individualized success plans to reduce attrition.
• Build relationships with students, partners, and colleagues.
• Deliver regular reporting to stakeholders and discuss instructional programs.
• Provide and maintain interaction with online course components.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and progress records.
• Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on topics, diagnostics, and equipment operation.
• Other duties as assigned.
