Responsibilities

• Facilitates access to hospital services using scheduling system or telephonic communication.
• Pre-registers patients and performs multi-resource appointment scheduling for outpatient diagnostic services.
• Collaborates with physician office staff to provide patient instructions for tests and procedures.
• Contacts patients or MD offices to rebook appointments to facilitate patient care.
• Acts as liaison between physicians, staff, and hospital to coordinate scheduling for patient satisfaction.
• Assists with training and implementation of new procedures to enhance Access Center services.
