Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable exams across the diagnostic radiology department and nursing units. You will ensure accurate orders, high-quality films, and proper shielding to protect patients and staff.

Responsibilities include operating x-ray equipment, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with other departments. ARRt-certified technologists with Ohio licensure are preferred to join our team and support

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile techniques.
• Ability to position patients accurately for imaging procedures.
• Operate x-ray equipment and printers with care and precision.
• Completion of ARRT-certified radiologic technology program and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Takes radiographs per physician orders.
• Maintain a low repeat-rate; 95% of films satisfactory.
• Follow routine book for exams and sign out requests correctly.
• Ensure requests include pertinent patient history.
• Work across routine, IVP, fluoroscopy, portable, and GU areas.
• Protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation with shielding.
• Know front desk operations and computer systems; report issues.
• Schedule exams and use centralized transport for patients.
• Interact with other departments; call in on-call imaging staff.
• Assist radiologic technologist students; participate in audits.
