Position Overview

Radiologic Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes, performing a full range of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. They independently execute or assist licensed practitioners in imaging procedures, ensuring accurate patient identification, proper preparation, and adherence to safety protocols such as ALARA. Responsibilities include evaluating image quality, preparing medications and documenting radiation exposure activities in compliance with regulations, and assisting with specialized procedures in various clinical settings.
