St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with strict adherence to radiation safety standards.

You will rotate through all areas of diagnostic radiology and maintain equipment, records, and QA data while educating patients about their examinations. ARRT certification and NJ licensing requirements apply, with BLS due within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT registered, or ARRT registry eligible.
• Must pass registry within 1 year of hire date.
• NJ staff must have current New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License (with NJ Dept. of Environmental Protection) and must be registered before date of hire.
• Current BLS certification required within three months of hire.
• Experience as a radiologic technologist preferred, and ongoing training in department procedures.

Responsabilités

• Identify patient and exam and perform diagnostic radiographic services with care and quality.
• Ensure technical continuity of care and educate patients on radiologic procedures.
• Demonstrate competency in RIS/HIS modules related to job responsibilities.
• Assist in gathering data for Radiology Quality Assurance/PI program.
• Assume area responsibilities and ensure equipment and supplies are available.
• Adhere to downtime procedures to maintain continuity of care.
• Pursue personal education through in-services and ongoing training.
• Provide educational information to patients about their examination.
• Participate in annual peer review of films and maintain relevant patient history and background.
