Riley Children’s Health in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray, fluoro, and fluoroscopy equipment, explain procedures to patients, and position them safely. You will collaborate with radiologists and referrers, adhere to radiation safety protocols, and document patient histories in the EMR.

After exams, monitor patients for safety and assist with minimally invasive procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant radiology experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required
• Ability to maneuver imaging equipment and improvise positions as needed
• Active ARRT RT(R) credential or board eligibility with credential obtained within 6 months
• ISDH license as Radiologic Technologist or ISDH Radiology Student Permit

Responsabilités

• Operate imaging equipment (x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, fluoroscopy)
• Explain exam to patients and position them correctly
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians
• Follow radiation safety protocols and document history in EMR
• Monitor patient during the exam for safety
• Document required information in EMR
• Assist with minimally invasive procedures as needed
