Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with ionizing radiation, independently handling radiographic and fluoroscopic exams while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Must hold ARRT-R certification or be eligible, with new graduates required to obtain certification within 6 months. Ability to work across clinical settings and to educate staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R certification or eligible; new graduates must obtain certification within 6 months.
• Ability to perform procedures in various clinical settings while maintaining policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, verify patient identity, and ensure exam preparation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, positioning, and data storage/transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare colleagues.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the Radiology Department.
