Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures using ionizing radiation in a clinical setting. You will work with imaging protocols, ALARA principles, and ensure patient safety while maintaining high-quality image results.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, assisting physicians in fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, and educating staff and students.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R registry within 6 months for new graduates.
• Ongoing professional development to advance to level 2 within 24 months.

Responsabilités

• Obtain correct orders, identify patients, and prepare them for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, document activities accurately.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage and transfer, and perform post-processing if needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare staff, assist licensed practitioners in fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
• Perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy outside of radiology settings, such as operating rooms or ICU.
