Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and ensure imaging quality.

You will be the first line interface with customers and participate in PI/QC activities, with responsibility for processing and transmitting images to PACS. Requirements include NJDEP license, ARRT-R, current BCLS (AHA), and graduation from a JRCERT-accredited program; at least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have current NJDEP license.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in RT).
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
• Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
