Indiana University Health in Lafayette is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures efficiently, while following physicians' instructions and positioning patients to obtain diagnostic images.
The role includes mentoring, supporting onboarding for students, leading CE activities, and stepping in as operations lead in the absence of a supervisor, with rotating weekend and holiday schedules.

This is a full-time Diagnostic Radiology Technologist position with a rotating shift from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, which includes working every fourth weekend from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Holidays are rotated equally among the team. Must have general radiology skills and experience with fluoroscopy and OR C-arm procedures.
Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images.
Displays leadership characteristics by volunteering for improvement initiatives and intra/interdepartmental committees, seeking new ways to improve team collaboration and success, functioning as a subject matter expert, and acting as a mentor to assist in team development and coaching. Advanced responsibilities may include acting as an onboarding/orientation preceptor, serving as clinical instructor for students, providing and leading annual CE opportunities for team members, acting as the operations leader during the absence of a team lead/supervisor.
