Job summary

Livingston Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. The role emphasizes patient safety, correct positioning, and high-quality imaging while adhering to radiation safety principles.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The position requires ARRT certification and state licensure upon hire, with preference for 1+

Qualifications

• Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) graduate of an accredited program of medical radiography.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the state of practice Upon Hire.
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire.
• 1+ years radiologic tech experience (preferred).
• BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Ensures safety standards and quality control on equipment.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results for image quality.
• Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
• Other duties as assigned.
