Penn Medicine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures within Diagnostic Radiology. You will be the first-line interface with patients, ensuring safety and accuracy while delivering high-quality imaging studies.

Responsibilities include performing routine X-ray exams with both stationary and portable equipment, operating digital systems, and supporting radiology services in the OR.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• American Registry Radiologic Tech (ARRT) is required.
• ARRT eligible and registered within one year of hire date is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs all routine X-ray studies in general X-ray using stationary and portable equipment with correct technique and proper labeling.
• Operates digital radiography equipment and CR system.
• Performs radiographic studies in the OR using C-arms and portable machines.
• Verifies patient identity with at least two identifiers.
• Maintains clean, organized exam rooms and adequate supplies.
• Instructs radiographic students in proper procedures.
• Maintains Radiology equipment and contacts service if repair is needed.
• May perform routine office duties such as RIS radiology orders and film processing.

Educación

H.S. Diploma or GED

Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology Program

American Registry Radiologic Tech (ARRT)

ARRT eligible and registered within one year of hire date
