Qualifications

• ARRT registration or eligibility within one year of hire date
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required
• HS Diploma or GED and graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program

Responsibilities

• Perform routine X-ray studies in general X-ray and portable X-ray equipment with proper technique and labeling
• Operate digital radiography equipment, cassettes and CR system
• Verify patient identity and orders; ensure patient safety and communication
• Instruct radiographic students and maintain and prepare radiology supplies
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and readiness; assist with other Radiology areas as needed
• Adhere to radiation protection protocols (badge, shielding, collimation)
• Place Radiology orders in RIS and manage film processing if required
