Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist at Doylestown Hospital to perform diagnostic radiology procedures across inpatients and outpatients. You will ensure patient safety, follow HIPAA guidelines, and coordinate with departments for smooth workflow.

Responsibilities include providing high-quality imaging, maintaining equipment, and adhering to radiation protection protocols. A strong emphasis on accuracy, patient care, and continuing education is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current BLS for technical staff.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
• ARRT certification or eligibility and registered within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical competency as Radiologic Technologist, manage workload and prioritize exams.
• Perform x-ray procedures per provider orders using ALARA techniques and ensure patient safety.
• Accurately document patient history, orders, and scans in PACs; verify patient ID and exam data.
• Operate imaging equipment (DR, CR, C‑Arm, portable radiography) and perform QA/maintenance.
• Deliver completed studies to radiologists and ensure proper labeling and history.
• Complete required education, CEUs, and certifications in a timely manner.
