Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Physician for locum tenens support near Albemarle, NC, with weekend shifts on a 8am-4pm or 4pm-12am ET schedule and telehealth practice settings using Epic EMR.

Board-certified radiologists with NC license or IMLCC eligibility are required; credentialing typically takes 60–90 days. Expect to read ED/inpatient exams, including stroke/neurological CTA, in a busy remote-teaching environment.

Qualifications

• Board certification in radiology is required.
• NC medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact eligibility.
• Experience reading stroke and neurological CT angiography is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology readings for ED and inpatient exams.
• Read stroke and neurological CT angiography.
• Cover weekend shifts (minimum 2 weekends per month) with two telehealth blocks.

This facility is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: Weekends, minimum 2 weekends per month (4 shifts); 8 a.m.-4 p.m. or 4 p.m.-12 a.m. Eastern Time

Practice Setting: Telehealth

Types of Cases: Diagnostic radiology, emergency department and inpatient exams; must read stroke and neurological computed tomography angiography

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days.

Electronic Medical Record: Epic.

Certifications Required: Board certification required.

Licensure Required: North Carolina license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact eligibility.
