Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) seeks a Diagnostic Radiologist for NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, Broadway. Responsibilities include obtaining histories, performing imaging (MRI, CT, mammography, DEXA, ultrasound), administering contrast, and coordinating services.

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the ABR.
• Active or eligible for a New York State medical license.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories and relevant clinical information.
• Perform and interpret imaging procedures: X-ray, MRI, CT, mammography, DEXA, ultrasonography.
• Administer contrast agents and radiopaque substances; monitor for complications.
• Communicate results and counsel patients on procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
• Confer with clinicians regarding image-based diagnoses; coordinate radiology services.
• Maintain image quality and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
