Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) in NYC is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, Broadway. You will perform and interpret imaging procedures, discuss results, and coordinate radiology services within a multi-disciplinary team.

Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology and NY license are required. Competitive salary between $468,750 and $494,500 plus comprehensive benefits and retirement options are included.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology
• Active or eligible for a New York State medical license

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories and relevant clinical information from records and referring physicians.
• Perform and interpret imaging procedures, including General Radiography, MRI, CT, mammography, DEXA, and ultrasound.
• Administer contrast agents and radiopaque substances to render internal structures visible on x-ray films and fluoroscopic screens, recognizing and treating procedure-related complications.
• Communicate results and counsel patients on procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
• Confer with medical professionals regarding image-based diagnoses and coordinate radiology services with other medical activities.
• Maintain quality control of images and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
