Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories and relevant clinical information from records and referring physicians.
• Perform and interpret imaging procedures across modalities (General Radiography, MRI, CT, mammography, DEXA, ultrasound).
• Administer contrast agents as needed and monitor for complications.
• Communicate results and counsel patients on procedures, risks, and alternatives.
• Confer with medical professionals regarding image-based diagnoses and coordinate radiology services.
• Maintain quality control of images and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Opportunity Details

• Obtain patient histories and relevant clinical information from records and referring physicians.
• Perform and interpret imaging procedures, including General Radiography, MRI, CT, mammography, DEXA, and ultrasound.
• Administer contrast agents and radiopaque substances (by injection, orally) to render internal structures visible on x-ray films and fluoroscopic screens, recognizing and treating procedure-related complications.
• Communicate results and counsel patients on procedures, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
• Confer with medical professionals regarding image-based diagnoses and coordinate radiology services with other medical activities.
• Maintain quality control of images and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
