Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-ray

Join to apply for the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-ray role at UW Health.

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, evening shift. Primary schedule is Monday - Friday 3:00PM - 11:00PM, with call and holiday rotations required. You may be trained at other UW locations and may be assigned other shifts including weekends, based on operational needs. Hours may vary.

Pay: UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Relevant work experience will be considered for starting pay. Position based at UW Health East Madison Hospital. You may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform a variety of imaging exams on diverse patient groups using radiographic equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues, participate in quality assurance, and resolve image processing and archiving issues.
• Make quick, technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology.
• Serve as a clinical instructor and participate in training and research activities.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology (required)
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (preferred)

Work Experience:

• Previous healthcare experience (required)
• 2 years of clinical experience (preferred)

Licenses & Certifications:

• ARRT Radiography (R) certification (required)
• Wisconsin Radiological License (required)
• CPR certification within 3 months (required)
