Job description

Work Schedule:

80% FTE, part-time position. 7 days on, 7 days off. Week 1 schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10:30PM - 7:30AM. Week 2 schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10:30PM - 7:30AM. Weekend, holiday, and call rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs. Potential to work additional hours up to 1.0 FTE.

Pay: UW Health offers competitive compensation, including a $4.50 hourly night shift differential, and a benefits package. Relevant work experience will influence starting pay. This position is based at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Eligible for a $16,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 relocation assistance.

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - X-ray to:

• Perform various imaging exams on diverse patient groups using radiographic equipment and technology.
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve image processing and archiving issues.
• Make quick, technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathologies.
• Serve as a clinical instructor and participate in training and research activities.

Education:

Minimum: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology school.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Work Experience:

Minimum: Healthcare experience.

Preferred: Two years of clinical experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

• ARRT certification and valid Wisconsin Radiological License within 3 months.
• CPR certification within 3 months.
• Bone Mineral Densitometry certification if applicable, within specified timeframes.
