Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.
• Advance to level 2 within 24 months (requirements outlined).
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct order, patient identification and exam preparation with confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols, optimize factors, and uphold ALARA for patient safety.
• Prepare/ Administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality and verify archival storage/transfer of data.
• Educate and monitor students and other health care providers.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including in OR/ICU/Endoscopy.
