Qualified candidates hold a radiography diploma or equivalent, with PA RT certification preferred, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
• Graduate of accredited Radiography program or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year completion of Radiologic program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification - State of Pennsylvania.
• RT - Registered Technologist Radiology - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Produces radiographs of diagnostic quality and prepares images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains radiation protection standards and uses appropriate exposure factors and collimation.
• Verifies orders, ensures correct patient data, and documents exam details.
• Monitors equipment function, reports malfunctions, and coordinates with team to manage workload.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the work area and adheres to infection control protocols.
