Job summary
The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Radiologic Technologist contractor to perform diagnostic radiography for emergency, outpatient, inpatient and surgical patients. Proficiency with radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable x-ray equipment is required, with initiative and minimal supervision.
Education must include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program; ARRT registration; SC licensure; and current BLS.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- ARRT registration and SC Radiation Quality Standards Association licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision.
- Utilizes radiography, fluoroscopic and portable x-ray equipment.
- Applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adults and/or pediatrics.
- Shift M-F 7:30a-4p with on-call rotation among staff.
