Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is seeking three Diagnostic Radiologists to work with us in support of the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Diagnostic Radiologist provides a spectrum of image interpretation, image-guided procedures and patient care services within the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology and may also possess additional subspecialty expertise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Certification from CHEA/JCERT accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Advanced ARRT-CT certification required.
• Minimum one year of proven clinical imaging experience in a Level 1 hospital preferred.
• Maintain active AHA BLS certification.
• No sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy exams.
• Operate digital radiography, portable X-ray, C-arm, and bone density equipment.
• Position patients and modify techniques for conditions.
• Administer contrast as appropriate.
• Perform bedside and operating room imaging.
• Process and archive images using PACS and participate in safety activities.

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is seeking three Diagnostic Radiologists to work with us in support of the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Diagnostic Radiologist provides a spectrum of image interpretation, image-guided procedures and patient care services within the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology and may also possess additional subspecialty expertise. In addition to the clinical practice of general diagnostic radiology, other duties include contributions to quality assurance and performance improvement, oversight of technical quality, education of staff and trainees, committee assignments and other activities that support clinical operations and the mission, values and goals of the VA and the Medical Center.

Schedule:

Assigned work shifts will cover 80 hours per pay period as agreed upon with the Chief of Imaging. Diagnostic Radiologists will rotate night, evening, weekend and holiday general Radiology call.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy exams.

• Administer contrast as appropriate.
• Perform bedside and operating room imaging.
• Process and archive radiographic images using PACS.
• Participate in radiation safety and quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Certificate of Completion from a Radiologic Technologist training program accredited by an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and/or the JCERT
• Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-R) is required
• A minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiologicimaging in a Level 1 hospital setting is preferred
• Maintain active AHA BLS
• Previous Siemens equipment experience is preferred
• No sponsorship available

All candidates must be able to:

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
