An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist who can independently perform complex radiographic procedures. This role involves conducting radiologic exams to assist in diagnosing medical conditions, ensuring patient care is at the forefront. Employees at this level are fully functional as an advanced DRT Radiology Service and can carry out their assigned tasks independently at Chalmer's P. Wylie VAACC in Columbus, Ohio. DRTs at this level may have varying assignments including special and complex radiographic procedures. Performs radiologic exams ordered by medical providers and used to diagnose medical conditions as part of an overall patient care plan. Works under the direction of the Chief of Radiology.

In addition to the basic requirements, completion of 1 year of progressively complex experience equivalent to the next lower grade level directly related to the position being filled which demonstrates knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics that are directly related to the specific assignment. For GS-09, completion of 1 year of experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level and directly related to the position being filed.
