Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks a Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging under physician supervision while maintaining radiation safety and patient care standards.

Minimum qualifications include a Technical School Diploma and radiography program completion; ability to handle confidential information and knowledge of safety procedures. Preferred: an Associate’s Degree in Health Science. On-site role in a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma and radiography program completion.
• Less than 1 year radiologic program completion.
• Ability to deal ethically with medical and confidential information.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic quality images under the direction of a radiologist.
• Maintains radiation protection standards and uses appropriate exposure factors.
• Ensures exams are correctly ordered and attached to patient folders.
• Coordinates daily workflow within the team and with departments.
• Documents required data including history, images, and CPT codes.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and reports equipment issues.
