Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with diagnostic radiography procedures.
• Ability to document patient history and orders in electronic records.
• Ability to adjust protocols with independent judgment in imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients using two identifiers and follow universal protocols.
• Administer oral/rectal contrast as ordered and document exams in RIS/ISITE.
• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures per department protocol.
• Communicate with patients with empathy and collaborate with the care team.
• Apply independent judgment to adjust protocols for appropriate ionizing radiation use.
