Job summary

Next Move Healthcare in Peoria, IL is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to join a collaborative medical imaging team. The role performs diagnostic radiographic procedures under a radiologist's direction, delivering safe, patient-centered care with strong imaging knowledge and radiation safety.

This four-day schedule features 4x10-hour shifts, evening coverage, and generous shift differentials with opportunities for CEUs, tuition reimbursement, and PSLF-qualifying employment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Radiography program with certificate or degree.
• ARRT registration at hire or able to obtain within 2 years after sitting for the registry within 6 months of hire.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation with proper safety factors.
• Collect relevant patient history before imaging procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions.
• Provide safe and comfortable care to pediatric, adult, elderly, and complex patients.
• Review image quality and determine if additional images are needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate imaging and patient documentation.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations.
