Job summary

Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center in Findlay, OH seeks a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic radiographs under Radiologist supervision. You will follow approved imaging protocols, coordinate with teams to boost productivity and referrals, and educate patients to ensure comfort and safety.

The role requires ARRT certification, an Ohio license, BLS within 30 days, and strong customer service and computer skills.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Ohio Radiologic Technologist license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems.
• Ability to assess patient needs by age.
• Ability to follow organizational policies and procedures.
• Acceptance of radiation protection monitoring policies and exposure guidelines.
• On-call duties require arrival within 45 minutes of contact.
• PRN on-call duties as needed.
• Positive interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of growth and development across the life span.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Follows imaging protocols approved by Radiologist and Imaging Director.
• Demonstrates adaptability when procedures are not standard.
• Multitasks effectively in busy or stressful environments.
• Solves problems and seeks guidance as needed.
• Coordinates with radiology staff to enhance productivity and referrals.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure comfort, safety, and privacy.
• Complies with documentation policies (consent, forms, etc.).
